Dauntless Partner ⚡️ Part 32

To give in

Blacklisted

They say eyes are windows to the soul, and you've demonstrated that credo a lot by now. The first time I can using a character's eyes to reflect their deeper feelings, including the bad ones, was with Vanessa, then with Alex, and I could go on, but Kami had her turn earlier when Kat visited her. Now this deeper look into Kat's invites us to feel like she's looking deeper into herself, too.

Your art has really good eyes, is what I'm saying :P

And maybe a theory about what else she lost in that accident is about to be proven right.

  • When I first noticed that Kat didn't bring a swimsuit at the beach episode, I would have never thought it was for this reason. Yet it makes so much sense in restropect (as all the theories that progressively showed up about the legs prove, that was a really good build up).

And though it won't be a love confession, this confession is the firs step to get there!
After all, you have to love yourself to be able to let someone else in your heart!

It looks like the theory that Kath had a prosthetic was true.

The question now is what is the extent of her prosthetic? Is it up to the knee or is it somewhere close to the thigh?

  • Come on, you can do it; show her you are strong, regardless of the scars you bear—she’s sure to accept you. It is good to be strong and perseverant as you move forward

You’re correct hopefully. And I hope Kath manages to no longer be ashamed of her prosthetics anymore. I have similar experiences, (I don’t have prosthetics fyi), because my ptsd has made it difficult for me to drive at times. Especially when asked to drive outside of town. I still don’t drive outside of town, but I understand why Kath is hesitant to show her prosthetics. Trauma is difficult to get over
