Description

sorry in advance to anyone who clicked here expecting new content

this was a conversion request by @1up who provided a high quality (by 2008 standards) flash file

I debated even ing this cause it's so crusty, but for preservation sake, here it is

Blacklisted

Honestly just cool to see how far they've come throughout the years, wish I had the funds to get one of their animations, but iirc they're rather expensive (Understandably), would definitely be fun tho.

Damn, to think back then this used to be like peak quality for 3D anims, and nowadays it's like quality you'd see mostly from some sketchy rookie animators

It's a fantastic demonstration of how style will always be better than realism in the long run. Realism looks great today, but five or ten years down the line? It'll look crusty and outdated.

As a gamer, this isn't exactly new information. It's something that the gaming industry has been tangling with since day one. There are countless examples of video games that couldn't stand the test of time after aiming to look as realistic as they could at the time.
