I mean, considering that she can't die, this seems like a pretty decent strategy.

I imagine cutting your own throat open would still hurt like a bitch though

Honestly if she still bleeds or cant breath with the wound, she'd be basically "dead" in a lomg term unconcious state until the wound seals itself over days or months or somebody patches it up.

Now that I think about it her gambit is even more powerful than I thought, even if painful.

Why does she need to breathe if she has no blood..? It's not like she has blood to transport around oxygen, so how do her cells get their oxygen for cellular respiration? I assume her cells still need energy or she wouldn't be able to move.

On second thought being undead kind of implies magic takes over at some point in the process, since she's still alive enough to avoid decay, move muscles, and probably still has an actively functioning brain. Spooky ghost cardiovascular system.

she technically doesnt need to breathe but like imagine you had to your entire life and now you can just stop and it feels exactly the same way as if you were suffocating? she doesnt out from lack of oxygen, rather her brain making her out since it's convinced it should.

but basically it's all just magic bs so dont think about it too hard

I think the power just prevents you from dying, everything else still could malfunction

I think it'd be much cooler if she did actually fall unconscious from a lack of oxygen, but with the wound slowly healing itself naturally until she can breath again, as it would make taking what would be a lethal wound far more risky than just being hurt
