I appreciate you're giving an actual valid reason behind Roxanne's absence and thus her and Max's breakup in the canon film. Most story artists I come across just kinda either casually accept that Roxanne's out of the picture or treat her like she's still there.

It makes the most sense that Max and Roxanne got accepted into different schools. Although you're going the extra mile and explaining that Roxanne went completely out of state for a job opportunity she didn't want to up. And seeing as how the film is (presumably) set in the early 2000's, it was probably still difficult for people to maintain long distance relationships. I'm just guessing, cause I truly don't know how that works.

I've been in a long distance relationship for some time now and it's only thanks to modern amenities like smartphones, webcams and Discord that I can do this. In the early 2000's it'd be unthinkable, at least from my experience.

    I appreciate the personal clarification.

  • Oh boy this comic was exciting for some Max and Peg action but if we're going to get a Max and Roxanne segue in the middle that's going to make this comic even more exciting.

  • I’m happy to see that their parting was written as something along these , as opposed to others where Roxanne would be portrayed as a cheating skank in order to justify Max’s fling with Peg. Not only does it give a fair and believable reason why they’re not together, it also leaves open the possibility that they could get back together again down the road; after all, as much as we want to see Peg play the role of seductive MILF with Max, I don’t really see a long-term relationship coming out of this.

I appreciate that. While pornography by its nature is meant to be fantasy and wish-fulfillment, I prefer a level of tangibility and groundedness, no matter how unlikely the situation. Also, lore accuracy is priority number one.

True enough. ittedly, I’m not sure how “lore accurate” this sort of scenario playing out would be, but since it’s what we want to see we allow that tangibility you mentioned.
That said, I’m looking forward to the next set where hopefully things will pick up again.

Oh, I know already. I meant the pages for next month. Maybe we’ll get lucky with another four-pager.
