Claire tried counting to ten. She gritted her teeth until she could almost feel them jostling for position in her mouth. Eh, the heck with it.
“MARITZA!” Claire roared as she leaped, tackling her friend. Maritza flung up her hands, still snickering, as her enraged friend bore her to the ground. Claire shifted for position to put her nose inches from Maritza’s. Oddly, this still put their eyes further away than she’d expected, and the move unfortunately let her ill-fitting pants slide slowly down surprisingly hairy thighs. But Claire had bigger thoughts on her mind right now. Like whether to kill and possibly eat her friend for being a giggling idiot. “What did you do that for?” Claire demanded. Her anger was cooling already, but no reason to let Maritza know that. She mentally willed her tail to keep lashing indignantly as it spooled itself gently out of her buttocks.
“Hahaha, I don’t know,” Maritza gasped. “But it was… pretty funny! And I think… hahahaha… I could make it up to you?” Still giggling, she realized her hands were clamped tightly onto something soft and yielding. Maritza looked down. Her fingers had somehow wormed their way under Claire’s quickly-drying shirt during the tackle. She squeezed experimentally, and a grin began to stretch across her face again.
“Oh, you want to make it up to me, eh?” Claire kept up the angry tone, but was already having trouble keeping a matching grin off her muzzle. Her ears twitched mischievously. Her blue eyes fell on Maritza’s ample breasts, heaving as the girl tried to catch her breath after another fit of laughter. Mrowr. “Well,” she continued, still trying to look angry, “we’ll see about that!” Claire quickly grabbed her friend’s hands before the Maritza could pull them away. Leaning down, she gave the surprised hyena-girl a quick peck on the forehead.
