    reminds me of the game GROVE. Where you have the option to, or not to, save one of the adventurers who gets taken by some blue slimes.
    Since slimes don't offer healing items (or it's very rare to get them from Slimes) in GROVE, most players don't feel like tackling said task cause it leads to an miniboss fight.

    How do you get that option? When I play it the protagonist just jumps in to start the fight after observing the scene briefly. Or, do you mean just not going up that trail at all and just ignoring him?
