Well then, this is a bit awkward. They said it'd be difficult, that the dragon was powerful and could take quite a swelling, but surely this is ridiculous. As each would-be contestant took their place at the pump, laboring with all their might until the buzzer rang, the fell beast never seemed any closer to bursting. Though by the official rules, the dragon was permitted to deflated to his starting size before another challenger arose, week past without a single success. Soon the locals called foul, naming the game rigged: nothing but a scam. Surely the dragon was unpoppable, and no one ever had a real chance.

Feeling pressure greater even than his inflatable beast, the carnival owner eventually acquiesced to their outcries. First, the game was modified; the dragon was no longer allowed to deflate between attempts, except at the end of the day. This change would enable the townsfolk, working together as one, to take on the fierce inflatable and perhaps tip the scales finally in their favor. Though even with this compromise, there was still a huge problem: though the dragon now ballooned to sizes never before seen, he still seemed no closer to bursting.

By now, the locals were outraged. As originally presented, the game was clearly a ruse: an impossible task that none had any real chance to overcome. But even in its modified form, weeks past without a single guest ever emerging victorious. Threats began circulating: the owner was surely a charlatan, swindling families of their hard-earned money! The dragon's unpoppable, they would shout in unison, it's nothing but a hoax!

Left with no other choice, the purveyor was forced to either respond, or be run out of town. The crowds wanted confetti, and they would settle for nothing less. And so the game was again modified - this time significantly less fair, at least for the dragon. In addition to the pump, a gigantic helium tank, usually reserved for inflating parade floats, was connected as well. Then, while competitors feverously pumped, the tank would be opened to accelerate their efforts. While this seemed sufficient, there was one last change: the dragon was not allowed to deflate - not even at the end of the day. This would go on until at least one lucky guest was victorious, and the foul beast was no more.

Though it seemed all but certain the dragon would quickly burst, even against such disadvantage, the rubber creature did not submit. For days it went on, the dragon growing larger and larger, his billowing body groaning dangerously and rounding severely. But even as the beast began gently floating up over the big-top, he seemed no closer to giving in. But there was plenty of air, and even more will to see the feel dragon dethroned; the locals would not give in until at least one of them took home a prize.

This fantastic picture was done by the lovely ChubbyGero! I simply ADORE his inflation art featuring big bellies and huge cuties! Definitely go and check him out.

Sometimes the prizes are just TOO good to miss out on. Meaning you need to make sure you win, by any means necessary.
