I think a lot is being lost in translation, and it’s a tad cringy hearing the voice actors say some of the more broken sentences. Even a rewrite of the translation by a fluent english speaker would be nice. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just not raw google translate.

I'm Void, I work as a professional NSFW voice actor and some of you might recognize me as the voice of the big tough villain, "Rugby Tiger", as well as "Club Captain" seen at the end of the animation. I'll first start by saying that I do not represent Geppei in any way, shape, or form; everything I say is coming from me and is in no way the thoughts or feelings of anyone else involved. I've only been commissioned by him to work on this as a voice actor, for which he has been incredibly generous doing so. I'm not writing this out of obligation, I'm writing this because I wanted to.
I've seen that some people aren't as much a fan of some of the more monotonous dubbing provided for a certain character. While I'm very certain that I know which character people are referencing given by the fact that, well, I read it multiple times, I can tell you that that has been taken note of. First, please realize that all of us creatives (artists, animators, voice actors, etc.) are all in different stages of learning our craft. Some are just starting out and might just read lines off of a page while others can see one line and deliver it in hundreds of different ways. Second, you also have to take into that Geppei is foreign and might not be able to review the English dubbing, so how would he review whether a performance is "good" or "bad" if he can't understand the spoken language? He is also fairly unfamiliar with the NSFW voice acting community, I happen to be one of the lucky few who he reached out to and I'm incredibly happy that he has. I know quite a few extremely talented voice actors as well so don't you worry, I'm sure the acting in Geppei's animations will improve exponentially in the future! ;)
On the subject of performances, I know that a particular character—that being the main victim No18—sounded a little too real to some. The voice actor for said character is a very close friend of mine for many years. We have taken voice acting classes together, performed acting exercises together, worked together, and he has gotten EXTREMELY talented! Honestly, hearing that it sounded too real is not a surprise to me considering he loves his performances to sound genuine and grounded. That's just a testament to how great of an actor he is! Unfortunately for this situation, the more grounded approach made the character seem extremely sad and scared. That's how our job as voice actors can affect things so drastically, one simple decision can take a character from lighthearted, flirty, and weary ("Please help me, I can't take this anymore~!") to dark, scared, and on the verge of tears ("P- Please help me... I... I can't... I can't take this anymore..."). Our job is to act, yes, but without proper direction we might deliver an amazing performance in the wrong way. We never received any direction in this case, it was all self-directed, so I'm not surprised a voice actor who likes more grounded performances would deliver a darker, more realistic performance like he did. It's not that it's a bad performance—thank you to everyone who took the time to add that by the way—it's just that it sets the mood as something much more darker and sinister.
I am acutely aware of the fact that the subject of the video is... dark, to say the least. I wasn't even aware of the entire storyline of this series when I signed onto it (which was my own fault for not ing, this will definitely be a learning experience for me to ask these questions in the future) and I'm still unaware of how things will turn out for the final part; I can only hope it will be a happy conclusion. I will say that, as it stands, I will in fact be finishing this out in the third installment since I agreed to work on it. I am a professional, I wouldn't want the crew to have to suffer through trying to find a separate voice actor to voice match for both characters.
As a victim of violent sexual assault myself I am fairly numb to content that depicts it because I am able to discern fiction from non-fiction, though that is a personal mindset and I don't expect others to be able to do or even care to do the same. Which is great! I welcome all points of view. Save for the people who are actually batshit crazy, having been online long enough I know to just ignore those ones. I also know how this sort of subject matter is disturbing or triggering to some. To those people, I am so very sorry that this animation was released without content-warning tags so that you could properly blacklist it. I don't know who s the final product but I will talk with who I can to see if we can't the final installment with the proper content-warning tags to avoid any future issues. Again, I am nothing more than a voice actor so I can't make any promises, but I will do my best.
Additionally, I'm noticing a lot of tension in this comment section from both the people damning it and those defending it. I'm sorry that this caused such a debate for you all but please try to that, when you're typing, there's another person on the other side who has been through wildly different circumstances, been raised differently, and who might have completely different values. Kinks are also included, some people are just into darker stuff! I know there are people who look at or even make dubcon and noncon art/anims as a form of catharsis for their own sexual abuse. Hell my catharsis is domination, degradation, and just the slightest amount of dubcon! Despite playing the more dominant characters in this animation I want some handsome, sexy guy to just use and abuse me! @//~//@ So please just , we're all horny! MemberYes it's a bit strange, and since I don't know what went on during the tagging process, I can't say anything for fact. But here's my interpretation of the taggers' thought process for all three animations, and also some concrete reasons for why they need content tags.
In part 1, there was no clear indication of a lack of consent outside of "shady" stuff being implied by the news club. If I were the one tagging, I would've added "questionable_consent" (assuming they didn't add that). TWYS
In part 2, perhaps the tagger initially did add "rape," but e6's special little spot for contentious content might've made them reconsider. They rewatched the video and saw that the guy did in fact consent to sex in the stalls (due to the use of the "gay app" ((lmao!)) ). The issue here is that he didn't consent to being choked out and gagged and bound in the locker rooms, which cannot be implied or made questionable due to the legal nature of consent. Additionally, the retraction of consent in his exclamation of "Please help!" should also have told the tagger to add a rape tag, but alas, it wasn't added.
Finally, in part 3 (spoilers), it's pretty obvious our protag didn't explicitly state any consent. It's probably tagged, but if it wasn't, I would say they were tripped up by him exhibiting pleasure, which does not equate to consent and would merit the rape tag. His setup of the Death Note-esque scheduling system that L used when he died can also be taken as non-consent.
