MemberI was upset with the series for 1 reason Anne Marie character was never mentioned or appeared in the series.
How I would have done it was Anne Marie gets lost and she prays and Annabelle sends Charlie saying where to go and says you'll know who to help when you get there. Arrives at spot with itchy sniffs the air and say's Anne Marie (maybe just before they get their other dogs appear ready to attack her but Charlie jumps in and saves her) . They appear to Anne Marie she gets scared because she know their dead they explain they've been sent from heaven to help her get her back to her family. Would have had Charlie and itchy turn human again so she could give them a goodbye kiss at the end of episode also saying that she loved them both in their ears.
or Anne Marie still gets lost but Charlie and itchy come across her scent recognize it and still go to her.
she wasn't even mentioned in the last episode where Charlie's on trial
