If they can mouth off like that without serious repercussions it means either of two things. It's either acceptable or the higher-ups don't care. Neither is good. And just based on how fandoms work, which aren't governed at all, it attracts more of the same kind.

Edit: So yeah, no wonder "dark types rarely ", no?

I mean, it's been all of 3-5 minutes in-comic. Repercussions might be forthcoming.
And some people are just that comfortable in their hate, or absorbed in their own world-view.

You could be right, and it could be systemic. But I don't think we've seen enough to make that assumption.
No one seemed all that bothered about Nova so far, aside from the wigglytuff in the hallway.

Again; You could be right. But my guess is that there's just a general stigma against Dark-types, and some 'mon just take it further into full-blown 'Dark types are evil' racism, like this Luxray.

Edit: I also just like nerding out/theory-crafting over things I enjoy, like this comic. :P

I still feel that this is more or less his fault. He knew she was married - healthy or not - and he doubled down on it, biting off more than he could chew. Downvote me, make a counterpoint, do whatever you want, but I stand by this view without a change of heart.

I’m sorry for saying this. That front on shot of ember with the tentacle thing out their nose reminds me of an episode of the clone wars cartoon where something really similar happens (Linked: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Brain_worm). Not saying this isn’t good, the art is amazing and I love the pose. It’s cool when things remind you of some old show you haven’t seen in years.

The link got messed up: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Brain_worm

Wow. Mark is a piece of $#!+.

To ever say that this kind of treatment is at all a good way of punishing and correcting misconduct speaks horribly to this man's character.

I hope he never ends up with Emily. The comic tries to hint that the way she tried to get him to come to her was wrong, but truthfully, he doesn't deserve her.

hopefully in a cruel twist of fate, he'll end up in the daycare too. find out the hard way what emily was trying to tell him, but too late and stuck like her.

I wanted the happy milf ending with the sexy and fun milf.

That was before the massive and troubling baggage. Now the happy milf ending isn't possible, I don't think.

Farewell, sexy and fun milf. You were sexy and fun when you were sexy and fun, then you stopped being sexy and fun. :c

    Godspeed, Al.

Makes me think of Biker Mice from Mars. Or Road Rovers. Or Dinosaucers. Or Street Sharks.

...There were a lot of <animal> with <vehicle> cartoons in the 90's.

    What happened?

Took a look at their page. Turns out pedophiles have been using their artwork and twisting the context into the animatronics eating children, and because enough of them were doing this, sections of the fetish community had been labeling the artist as a pedophile too.

I'm really interested in the things that BB420 is doing when it comes to the race and gender of the characters... clearly a lot of intention in writing Katie as trans and Phoebe as black.

If nothing else, depth of the characters adds to profound horror of the narrative for me. It's uncomfortable and upsetting to read, and yet I keep morbidly coming back to it when Katie and Phoebe pop up in my search feed.
I wish I could interview the artist or something; I'm sure reactions to their art has been strong.

[This is not an indictment of BB or of this work. It's left me at a loss for how to resolve how I feel and I'm ok with that. When art feels like a persistent rock in my shoe, it's usually because the artist is onto something.]

if you've got any other images by this artist, maybe you can do a reverse search on them and figure out who it is? =)

I kind of doubt they'd show up in a reverse image search. This stuff is literally 20-25 years old, and that's not all. I have some furry art that's going on 35 years old now. Such old artwork tends to not show up in reverse image searches given their age, sourced from places like the Vixen Controlled Library or other now ancient furry art sites that are defunct or barely around anymore, and don't always end up in searches like that.

But this art, I know for a fact I knew who they were and have a bunch of other art by them. I'll have to look through it and see if I can find an artist signature.

Actually, the idea of Sigil being a gated community reserved exclusively for mortals seems like the ultimate power move now.

It's almost like banning the cub tag was stupid of them 😂 like if people don't like it then they could blacklist, now they can't, honestly they brought it on themselves, imagine wanking to furry porn but being all like "oh cubs is where I draw the line" really need to bring back the cub tag.

Young is blacklisted by default, youd have to disable it to view this. Non issue.
