Former StaffI highly recommend using APNG when it's just couple static images so you get actual PNG quality, where with GIFs you need to downsample colors which degrades the actual content and it's already 6MB GIF because of the randomness from dithering required to overcome that limitation visually.

Former StaffAt least CSP is the kind of software where GIF export is actually semi-broken and you need to export as APNG and convert to GIF externally to begin with.
But it's true that many art software has seperate options and formats ed so it might not be ed out of the box.
However this is like 5 images in slideshow with slight crossfade, at which point you can simply export 5 individual PNG files and combine them externally.
