Being conscious and being asleep are two different states here. It looks like she's been awake for a long time, but lost any sense of ever being asleep during the past few days.
Computer memory can be cleared, modified, stored and restored. The only thing knowingly separating events is a time stamp, a system doesn't "being asleep", there's just gaps in memory.
I'll leave it with an extra clue: How many times has she fallen unconscious before in the past few days?
