MemberI'm always left wondering how anthro worlds handle hybrids. Usually, my assumption is that they just don't happen, as that is a much nicer explanation as to why every couple is the same species. The trouble happens when hybrids are referenced as being possible. If hybrids are possible, then how is it that pure species are still a thing? Are interspecies relationships a newly accepted thing? Did nobody think to try it until just now? Is it just super uncommon? Is species something that usually doesn't hybridize, but sometimes can? Why do I have a brain that makes me ask questions like this that will probably never be answered?

MemberColumn A and B. Basically as Kitsu described it. We implied she was married as she had Toby. She had to have a husband. Hence Jackson’s addition. His push to be in the comic while more recent is intentional. The reason for the ring’s disappearance in universe being that it needed a resize as said in the comic. In reality we didn’t truly think that far ahead.
The Ms. vs Mrs. bit is a common thing and I even had Floretta bring up that the poster needs replacing and implying that she’s had it before she was married and had Toby. However the ring was the real hiccup. This is basically as gracefully a change we could possibly make it.
Not intentionally mind you. In fact it’s sorta why I was pushing for Floretta to get some action from Jackson. Possibly as a bonus image to be an addendum to the comic. Can’t exactly leave threads hanging here and a lady unsatisfied. It’s being pushed so much because as some people guessed? The students weren’t up to snuff because only her husband knows how to get her off with Kitsu being the closest one to ever getting to that point.
Is it still her cheating on him? Yes. This I cannot deny. However if given more time and a revisit to this storyline? I’d basically have the students she’s banged get conveniently cut off in a way that’s not going to get her in trouble and not have rumors spread about. On top of which making it up to her husband for ever having down this route. Why? The mission’s accomplished. She was doing it for Toby’s sakes to raise his chances to get with Mitsuko and it happened. In fact the comic was initially just Floretta and a bunch of students. The Toby section being added as a part of the motivation for Floretta and a little bit extra. After all there’s no need to drag out a farce for longer than needed. At least that’s how I’d tackle it.
I said this on IB but I’m hoping if we do return to this storyline it’s that it’s a group sleepover with Kit, Cat, Toby, and Mitsuko. Maybe adding Lyra and another one of the boys shown off here. Who knows? The skies the limit here.
