  • it wouldn't be as fun but watch Ken's partner recognize Maya when they get to the apartment. Ken will be like "Look who agreed to the add!"

  • you know for someone with such big ears, she has quite the tendency to not listen

  • God fuckin dammit Maya! *Facepalm* LISTEN GIRL! Or just kindly ask him to repeat! Ugh I hate that stereotype where someone can't be bothered to ask the other person to repeat and blindly agrees to something. (I'll it begrudgingly it makes for good story tension) But I don't care how shy the person is, any shy individual would rather ask for clarification than blindly agree to something.

  • Oh gosh hahahaha
I don't think I've ever seen it visualized so clearly, of someone... like... not listening to somebody else, eventhough they're right there in front of them xD

Already apologizing for the big-ass article but:

Am I the only one feeling a bit anxious about him already in a relationship?
I mean, he's somewhat "already taken" and her filling in just feels... off?

And yet, it's still strange that, being a couple, they are searching for someone to be their roommate. Or perhaps they live separately (having a relationship doesn't mean you HAVE to live with them) and only he was looking for a roommate... but still strange that they aren't living together if the problem was monetary.

I am having very high vibes that (POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD) this boyfriend of his is cheating on him behind his back. It can be a reason why they aren't living together but, yet, don't explain why being with him while cheating. Then why pushing the idea of having a roommate if they can't live together? Maybe the boyfriend doesn't like him to a point of not living together but having easy money to pay for their expenses? So it is about money? About controlling someone?

Or... and that's a BIG OR... they aren't really together. The "partner" thing still very vague and doesn't mean boyfriend/girlfriend yet. Still betting he's a Police Officer and have a "partner" to work with but nothing really concrete about his actual job. Now they being Bi... but not really together in a relationship. They could be even friends with benefits, for that matter! But it still doesn't add up WHY they aren't living together if the problem is monetary... unless the other "partner" already has someone to live with.

I really don't know, maybe I am thinking too much already. There's too much questions and so very little answers. I can only guess and wait to see how the story goes. This is getting obnoxious and yet interesting.

Addendum: Also, I thought Maya would be cautious or even mad at him for being in a relationship, since the whole plot was to discover and understand WHY he leave her and her mother in the first place. Maybe he didn't know she was pregnant at that time (which seems to be the case) but then why leaving them or why the mother didn't tell him... still a mistery. Guess she forgot due her excitement to finally talk to her biological father and potentially live with him, maybe. Again, have to wait and see.

    Oh, the anxiety!

  • I like to imagine he said something like "so you're down for getting spitroasted, right?" And she just nodded along
