📖 One of those cases where the character's backstory became the absolute core of the entire work!
Triple milestone unlocked!😄

Meet S.E.L.A. - Strategic Enforcement Lethal Asset

She used to be just another cop. Until a stray bullet on a street took it all away. Her life, her body, her name. Everything, except for this one memory.

The [REDACTED] Corporation did her a "favor" she never asked. They ed her fading mind into the very first prototype of their Second Generation combat androids. The once-effective detective is now an unstoppable force for galactic-scale cleanup operations. Where it used to take weeks of preparations and full assault teams, now all it takes is a single "space shark"

Her appearance now is nothing but cynical marketing - stylized to match the company brand. Her instincts are dialed up to the limit, her past "lost" during the transfer, her doubts programmed out of existence. Only a cassette player built into her left arm and 90 minutes of low-quality, chewed-up tape connecting her to the time when she was still [REDACTED].

Pirates who left Earth's oceans for deep space have long forgotten the fear of the deep. But a shark with an assault rifle isn't the worst thing waiting for them out there. They are about to that primal terror as they watch a razor-sharp tail slice through the air, and claws tear through hull and flesh alike.

But can the past ever truly die? And how long can digital armor keep a living soul from asking the wrong questions..?

Originally, this character (and her backstory) was conceived as a design reference for a new game, but nobody except me liked S.E.L.A.😔
Maybe I’ll make a game like that myself someday...
