Love is Patient… VERY Patient

Four days ago, I started my field work on Atyno Beach. It's a wide-open space of gentle waves against soft sand, with a beautiful view of the flat, watery horizon.

I've decided that I want to focus my study — and my camera — on the beach and shallows rather than the sea. I've found a great number of Pokémon to study here, from waterfowl to crustaceans. But today's report isn't about them! Today's report is about two residents of Atyno Beach who I found especially interesting.

I first visited Atyno Beach on April 6th. While I was there, I saw two Slowpoke on the sand, having sex. I noticed that even though the Slowpoke were out in the open, lying on the beach in an exposed spot, all the other wild Pokémon were giving them space. I decided to do the same.

Still! I wanted to document their activity. As I was getting my camera ready, I started to feel guilty about spying on such a tender moment of lovemaking. But then I wondered to myself if these Slowpoke actually wanted to be watched. They did choose this spot, after all! I wonder if this can be considered a sign of Pokémon enjoying exhibitionism, or if I'm simply seeing meaning where there is none.

Even if I was keeping my distance, I wanted to study their sex more closely! With the camera trained on them, I got a much better look at these Slowpoke. Thank goodness for zoom!

First and foremost: both these Slowpoke had vulvae and fascinatingly large clitorises. The labia majora were also quite pronounced. These are signature signs of high levels of testosterone.

I suspect that these Slowpoke are doing their own hormone replacement therapy. If these Pokémon want to be males, I imagine it would be trivial for a psychic Pokémon to adjust their hormone output. How these animals can voluntarily increase testosterone when they want to transition gender is a fascinating research opportunity which we'll have to dig into another time, but for now I'll focus on what happened.

To paint the picture, the two were lying on their sides to face each other, kissing and making love. It was quite a sweet sight! The Slowpoke on the left, who I'll call Braden, was reaching his tail forward, between his partner's legs, to penetrate him. The Slowpoke on the right, who I'll call Colby, was doing the same thing to Braden. Braden already had his tail quite buried in Colby, while Colby was following Braden's lead and beginning to do the same.

I watched them for five minutes, taking pictures, and then I moved on to other parts of the beach to find other subjects.

The next morning, I returned to Atyno Beach and found Braden and Colby in the same spot they'd chosen yesterday. Again, I found them kissing and making love with their tails, so I took the opportunity to study them a little more. Unsurprisingly, every motion of their tails and their kissing was extremely slow, but from what I could tell, they seem to like it that way.

The morning after that, Braden and Colby were in the same spot again. I was surprised by the regularity. Such a routine! Every morning, always this location, and always this specific position; tails inside each other.

But later that day, I had another surprise. I was coming back through the same area of the beach on my way home, which I don't usually do, and there were the Slowpoke couple again. More tail-sex, yet many hours later.

So, on my fourth day, I stopped by the Slowpoke spot several times throughout the day. At no point did I see Braden or Colby doing anything other than kissing and tail-sex. If they hadn't been slowly moving their tails, I would have assumed them statues.

At this point, I had a suspicion I wanted to look into. I requested use of a time-lapse camera from Prof. Blanc, which she granted, and I set it up on day five. I then left it running for a week. I wasn't planning on filming so long, but got carried away.

As it turned out, Braden and Colby didn't have a routine where they kept returning to this spot. They simply remained in the same spot. Day in, day out, having nonstop sex.

Mind you, given their characteristic slowness, the long duration of the sex makes sense. Perhaps it takes them longer to achieve the same satisfaction other species would in shorter times because they’re unable to move quickly. What may seem extremely prolonged to us with our quicker perception might be exactly enough for them. Or perhaps they take so long because the signals going back and forth between their brains and their bodies take so long to travel.

While they laid on their sides, facing each other, they both angled their tails forward, between their partner's legs. Braden dipped the tip of his tail into Colby's vagina, and Colby did the same with his tail inside Braden. I could observe both boys' labia spreading and the length of both tails disappearing; they were pushing deep into each other's vaginas.

The two did not seem interested in using their legs at all, instead expressing themselves with their tails and their tongues. Since this is the only sex behaviour that Braden and Colby chose, I have to wonder if this is instinctual for Slowpoke. Their propensity for dipping their tails into water is well-documented. Dipping their tails into each other for sexual satisfaction may be another piece of their instincts!

Though it was too slow for me to notice in real time, when we speed up the time-lapse footage, we can observe the movements that these Slowpoke make over time. Both Braden and Colby were using thrusting motions of their tails to penetrate deeply, then slide back out. They pushed their tails in and out of each other like that for days.

At times, Braden stopped thrusting, remaining in the deeper position. I was able to see slight left-and-right movements of his tail, or at least, the part of his tail that I could still see. Though I can't see inside Colby, I think it's safe to assume that Braden was wiggling his tail inside Colby. It wasn't until later in the time lapse that Colby reacted to this stimulation. His mouth opened with a broader smile. Quite a delayed reaction! Then Colby stopped thrusting as well and performed the same wiggles, mimicking what Braden did. They would pleasure each other like this for hours until they eventually fell back into thrusting motions.

While they made love in this fashion, they kissed. Equally slowly. Braden licked at Colby's tongue, and Colby responded in kind. I didn't observe either Slowpoke drop his smile even once throughout the entire filming. So I believe that they both were very much enjoying each other!

They went on like this day in and day out. Though, they still found one way to spice things up. During a few of the days, Braden slid his tail all the way out of Colby, allowing me to observe how wet Colby had made it over the course of days. Next, Braden moved his tailtip to Colby's anus and slowly slid inside. Judging by how deeply Braden was able to insert his tail, it would seem that Slowpokes have quite a bit of space inside their anal cavity for just this kind of occasion!

Colby exhibited no change in behaviour nor reaction while Braden buried his tail in this very different spot. At least, not at first. This freed Braden to pump in and out of a fairly loose hole unimpeded. Hours later, Colby tightened his posture and changed his expression into what appeared to be a pleasured soundless moan, despite the fact that Braden had not changed anything in his movements recently. Just the same slow tail thrusts. We do know that Slowpoke bodies have delayed reactions, so this must have been Colby's body catching up with the sensation of being anally penetrated.

I observed this phenomenon one more time, on my final day of filming. After twelve days, Braden and Colby wrapped up their sex at last. They stood up and started walking down the beach side by side. Before they left the frame, they stopped walking and stood there as a delayed orgasm took hold of both of them. For a few hours, Braden and Colby just stood on the beach side by side, climaxing. They created a lot of ejaculate, and the sand behind them became very wet. Finally, the two crawled into the water and out of sight.

The experience has left me inspired! The next time I do the same thing myself, I want to try a slow, long-lasting session, like our boys in pink. Of course, I'll never be able to match their speed nor endurance, but even a fraction of what they put on display for us would be fun.
