Monster Hunter - Spyro/Syrion

Little surprise art, so with how I made the MH redesigns so far, I wanted to remake something from over 6 years ago. Which the old version of it was for an FAE on discord. While I could just submit this as it is, I thought it would be fun to give him his own info as well.

Syrion

A powerful and mysterious Elder dragon covered in purple scales. From eyewitness reports it wields a multitude of elements and even the strength of the earth.

Background:

We were setting up a base of operations in a new continent discovered that remained unknown to the world. Four hunters were sent to investigate the area more after clearing some potential dangers. They would split up to cover more ground to investigate, however one of the two pairs would encounter something unknown.

An area that was hidden away looked as if it were a temple, statues and markings surrounding the area. We investigated the area through the halls of the temple, and in different areas, lastly we arrived in a large room. However the air felt electric, the winds began to pick up, until from the open roof, a figure flew down suddenly.

As the dust settled, we were shocked to see an elder dragon, however it was an oddity. As it turned, we saw that it was covered in purple scales, with a mixture of yellow on the rest of its body. It stared at us for a minute, not showing any signs of aggression, before flying off, leaving us with questions of the unknown.

Behavior/Ecology:

It remains unknown to us why it behaves differently than other Elder Dragons as it does not attack on sight within seeing hunters nearby. Exploring more of the regions in the unknown continent it has been spotted in all of them, presuming it to be nomadic.

Neutral at most especially around large monsters, which is reasonable given most large monsters veer away from Elder Dragons. Only attacking when provoked at most.

The environment is affected by its appearance but weirdly low, electric particles seem to affect the air making it cloudy. However the shift in air presence remains an anomaly.

Biology/Abilities:

From witness reports it has been using different elements, which is rare for an elder dragon to possess, yet it doesn’t harm the environment. It is similar to Alatreon, which leaves us more confused as we have yet to understand its anatomy.

More confusion as to why its coloration is different than most Elder Dragons, purple and yellow mixed. Structural Coloration is the only possible explanation, but more research is needed on why.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

Elemental capabilities make it immune to almost every element. The only possibility is it being weak to the dragon element and paralysis, blast and poison are minimal affecting it.

Being an Elder Dragon we can assume its head, wings, and limbs can be broken to reduce its capabilities. Also mentioning that its tail is severable as well.

Other Info:

It has been spotted near another Elder Dragon that is completely covered in black scales. Both tolerate each other's presence as long as neither of them are provoked.

Other possible known Elder Dragons that have come close to it have failed to drive it away sometimes due to its elemental capabilities. However Alatreon may be presumed to be the only one capable of rivaling it.
