Description

I was inspired by the work of an artist I found on X, 군필갸루할배 (@rumpet0262), who, in turn, was inspired by a painting by the Russian artist Ilya Repin, titled "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan, November 16, 1581", which is mistakenly called "Ivan the Terrible Killing His Son."
Through my art, I want to improve my skills and make you smile.

This post sent me down the rabbit hole BTW to look up the original artwork and its story.
Facinating blend of truth and artistic license with the original as well as a look into the politics, culture, and perceptions of the people in Ivans time, and the artists time with said work.
Got me a little bit of an ed-u-ma-kay-shun there 8-)

I'm so glad someone had an adventure like that that made them find and study the original painting, haha
