MemberI believe that's kind of the point. It's meant to replicate a Undertale Yellow Game Over screen, which is pretty much a constant background with lots of text.
Of course in this case the background in question is the aftermath of what happened to Clover, and Flowey hilariously talking about it in character XD
I found this one to be funnier than the Ceroba one, because you can evidently see how much Flowey loathes Martlet here.

MemberJust the soul. Flowey says that Clover's essence of being was being stuffed into her "bird muffin".
I think it works in a way similar to soul absorption, just with the monster using the power to create a new body instead of boosting themselves. You can see Clover communicating with Martlet in some of the other pictures, which should be possible with absorbed souls with what we know from Asriel and Chara.
How exactly Martlet figured out that shoving a human's soul in there makes them a monster 9 months later remains a mystery.

MemberI guess it's up to interpretation, Flowey says body and soul, so that could mean Clover's actual body is within Martlet as well as his soul, or it's just his soul within Martlet, and she's creating a new body for the soul to inhabit while his soul is within her.
Monsters know that a human soul can be absorbed by a monster, because they all know what happened with Asriel and Chara, so it stands to reason that they'd also know that doing something like taking a soul within themselves if a they're a female monster that can have children, and creating a new body for them.
For all intents and purpose, it would be pretty accurate to say that Clover's soul has been absorbed in a sense by Martlet, so he would be inside her, and is essentially being reborn within her.

MemberI'm more inclined to believe it's just the soul, since Flowey specfically mentioned shoving the soul in there. Plus, if you're gonna put the whole body in, why separate it from the soul in the first place?
Makes me wonder if they could do this to the other souls as well. After 9 months, you'd technically have 6 monsters with human souls. That's nearly enough to break the barrier, while still letting the fallen humans live out their lives.

MemberIn most cases people believe it's the soul itself that's been absorbed or taken into Martlet in this scenario, and getting reborn into a new monster body.
Of course there's also the possibility the whole body is within Martlet as well, along with the soul. But that's up to interpretation, as different people perceive things differently.
Chances are they probably could do this to other souls if they were capable of doing it with just one of them. Then again it is possible for a soul to resist, in which case a monster would have to convince them to let it happen.
Though with that being said, a monster with a human soul likely could do things that a ordinary monster, or human couldn't do because of their unique circumstances.
I'd assume they would be able to the barrier since they have humans and monster traits, and if they could break the barrier using this method, then it would be matter of convincing the other souls to aid the monsters in breaking the barrier.
