MemberNot necessarily. Some of the xBox 360 controllers are wireless. Some are not. I own a wired xBox 360 controller, but no xBox 360. The controller connects to my computer. Makes a few PC games more fun. (Though I still feel mouse+keyboard wins for most PC games, especially FPS--but that's just my opinion.)

MemberWell, there is also the recharge wire for rechargeable packs which you plug into the 360. I have a wireless 360 controller but we recharge it by plugging it into the x-box. That doesn't look like it because of the wire,but it is possible. *nodnod*
