Also, Ducks are one of the few birds that aren't monogamous. A female may like a particular male for a bit, but females usually encourage a sort of "gang rape" thing where she will make a bunch of males chase her and the male that can catch her and pin her down and mate with her gets to be the dad. The males rarely stick around for offspring care.
So the idea of Pam and Mack finding Blu's situation to be pitiable and giving him some fun with both of them is very likely.
