From what I've heard, these days, employers are way more relaxed about it and generally don't care all that much what an artist does on their own time as long as it can't be tied to the employer. It was a thing in the past that it could get you in trouble or jeopardise employment opportunities, for sure, but not so much anymore.

There's this weird mixture of political correctness and right-wing conservative values overtaking a lot of our culture. I mean they basically just fucking banned porn in my home state of North Carolina. They made it so that you have to your identity and age through a "third-party entity" just to be able to access porn sites.
No way am I giving my personal info to some random company just so they can sell it to whomever to keep track of my online activities and put me on some fucking Trumpist redlist of gay people to put in concentration camps if he somehow gets back in power. I sent an email to the state representative who was the architect of that fucked up bill letting him know just what I think of it and him, but a lot of good that's going to do.This shit scares me. And from what others heard (not me), Disney has hired a porn artist who had half of their gallery built on cubs (including of non-con/dub-con variety).
