    something about this seems vile.

Is it that the artist assumes we are too stupid to know what is happening in a frame with no words, and so uses fully descriptive labels as onomonopeia?

The artist doesn't assume we're stupid (though it may be a possibility), as putting the action out in words is very normal for comic strips. I mean... If Stan Lee does it, you'd be stupid NOT to do it.

Those worked because it was supposed to be silly and not be taken seriously. You know, how you won't be taken seriously for using that incongruous cliche.

  • Neat! Lol.... although I do my peircings with a peircing stud I saved from getting my first professional peircing done, and saved another one from a kit I bought :P it doesn't hurt, I don't know why people think it does, haha just a really sharp pinch, for about a second, then it's gone :P

  • Some people have more nerve-endings in their ear lobes than others, and vice-versa. I got both my 'lobes double-peirced with a gun and not 1 of those 4 hurt when it happened--only afterwards during the healing process. When I got my industrial done, however, it hurt like a fuck'n sonnuvabich. That, my fellow furries, was not a pleasant experience in the least.

So to begin with, his uh, ears are quite thick, and since they appear to be movable (like being able to wiggle your ears), they're prolly pretty sensitive.

That and they did just witness a lion getting his shish kabobbed. Lol

And before some 'tard flames me, I am fully aware that they are fictious characters. G'day ^^
