MemberIn theory, goats and rabbits have the same type of nose... but here we can see that both Reese and max have different nose types. As shown in this art format max is seen with a canine like nose and I think its to differentiate rabbit from goat in this instance.
Furthermore if Reese had been lacking one key factor that being his horns and both Max and Reese having the same nose type that being the normal scientific nose structure... Both Max and Reese would look exactly the same and nobody would know who is who if they didn't know that max had pink hair.
In conclusion, Theoretically both Reese and Maxwell Hopper are the same character just based on this information alone.
