This brings me physical pain.
I've been a fan of the fanfic in question for a long time, now.
I still re-read what's there every now and again.
And all the more painful is that Harry Leferts didn't _stop_ writing, or anything.
He just writes overindulgently lengthy shipgirl fanfic now. Up on the Sufficient Velocity.
WaLP is one of the best Fimfic pieces ever- and among the least horrible HP fics, to boot.
Great characters, and keeping in-line with the overall "fairytail"-feel of the first HP books.
But none of the all-pervaiding fanfom-borne cliche of "Evul Dumbledore","Harry's a heir to bunch of Ancient Houses"... you know, I won't mention all of trite stuff that pervades the HP fandom.
Suffice to say, the fix has next to none.
Aaaaand I am sad now.
The art is wonderful, and so is the story, which by now is reliably dead.
I want commit die.
