Retsuko has been kinda reaching out for a male counterpart and already found 2.
Fenneko enjoys the attention of men obviously from that one episode where she was supposed to watch over Retsuko at a party thing, but despite that, she doesn't reach out for guys.
I think Haida is the reason why.
(Not to mention she's reaching more for Haida to be with Retsuko than Retsuko to be with Haida, she's trying to get Haida to win Retsuko's affections. If that doesn't scream, "I have an interest, but I want you to be happy." I don't know what does.)
I would lose it if the twist for the next season or two is Retsuko learns Fenneko has feelings for Haida, and tries to set them up, exposes it to Haida, and Haida has a fucking revelation thinking about how much Fenneko has ed him.
