    With pixel art, the scaling in any way, especially if using other than exact multipliers with other than non-filtered/nearest neighbor will result immense quality decrease. Which you wouldn't think of because it's just large pixels after all.

    The scaling alghorithm used tries their best to keep everything intact, but because of the artstyle, it actually introduces some nasty extra completely differendly colored pixels while making evertyhing much blurrier. This is why I try to tell artists to always downscale content themselves if they are posting it on websites instead of letting websites do it for them, because the best method changes depending on material and with sites like furaffinity their downscaling method does introduce tons of blur regardless of content.
