TBH, what we need is the police to do their damned job and crack down on both groups of people disturbing the public peace, and for politicians to stop siding with any group of communally driven snobs.

The extremes of the ideologies espoused by those within Antifa, BLM, and "Third Wave Feminists" is Communism. They're going around fear-mongering everyone into social strata based on gender and skin color. Any who don't agree get called "Nazis".

The extremes of those from the "Unite the Right" were, indeed, Nazis. But that was the extremist part. And even then, those that weren't were there because they could not side with the other side, without debasing themselves. Which they did not want to do.

We need these elitist groups on both sides to shut up and stop dividing us by race. Stop erasing individuals. Let people be themselves.

I mean, yeah, from my experience with those groups, there can be people who end up focusing too much on "protecting" minority groups (saw one twit yelling at people for using the word "spook" because it is apparently racist when used in some other context.) But well, at the same time, be careful before you accuse groups like BLM of causing racial conflicts, people seem to have forgotten this, but many of the same arguments were directed at MLK too, in the past.

The biggest "sin" I would like to warn people to avoid is thinking that one think that a few loud extremists speak for these groups. It's a frustratingly common thing too see on the internet, people love arguing with the views they think another group holds, rather then talking with its to come to an understanding with them.

Also,Communism isn't an *inherently* bad thing, we're not all Marx-Leninists who want a totalitarian state. I take to left-Libertarian views bacause I want to protect the rights of the individual, and see capital as being just as oppressive to the individual as the state.

I agree with not allowing the extremists to ruin one's idea of a group's purpose and ideals, because I don't think you should judge a book by its cover. Sadly Carl Marx didn’t share your point of view. He created his ideology to corrupt people. This is why his ideas never actually lead to a utopia in the first place. He knew that we would fall back into oppression as soon as a socialist leader was given to much power and never left anyone with a way to fix this issue. Most people don’t know this, but Marx not only hated the world around him, he also hated himself just as much as he hated God and Humanity. At least he had no beef with the 2nd Amendment and wanted the people to still have weapons to defend themselves and and others should a government gain a dangerous level of power. That is the only thing that Marx had the guts to say that wasn’t a flat out lie. Basic Morality meant nothing to him he believed that families were a weakness because of how strong family is in its unity. Marx was very obsessed with Satan even though he claimed to be a faithless man. His hatred for God proves that he never was an atheist.
