There really should be more smallish wolf link. I think that's really underrated.

(Also, putting a whole musical number in a medium that inherently uses nothing but still images and also lacks sound, to express something that could have been shown with 3 s of facial expression was . . . a choice.)

I wonder if the "soundtrack" that comes as a perk for ing the comic includes the song, and if so I wonder if he commisioned it before or after the musical number.

Also, Egyptian (Scottish) Krystial is sexy as holy hell

I think it has something to do with Deoxys. I might be red-threading this, but here's my thinking. It's a virus that mutates rapidly, there's three strains of it, it's highly aggressive, nobody knows where it came from, and we've just now learned that the infected are mysteriously in synch. And the infected talk about "mother," indicating that there's a singular driving force of some kind behind this. And yet despite all of that, it's still clearly related to Pokemon somehow and it was able to be fought against with materials and research from right there on Pokearth. All of that sounds like classic Deoxys behavior. I bet we'll find that swirly-armed motherfucker hiding in a moon rock somewhere pumping out infectious clouds and once we kick him back into deep space everything will end.

Interesting take honestly, but my bets are still on something a bit more in the realm of mew. Since a) genetic mother of all Pokémon, thus allowing for such extreme variance in dna alteration and injection, Especially since as far as I’m aware they’re the only natural Pokémon to know transform, the move that mimics the dna of it’s target. b) mass physic link to all infected, thus causing the whole “mother concept to be pushed into their heads. c) direct potential for “paternal” revenge for the mass enslavement of her whole species (Pokémon being the species and each individual Pokémon being a subspecies) d) not exactly having a internal link to see inside the bubble of society to see the true good or bad of the situation, which it’s both for both sides.

Good: Humans have managed to mostly find a way to bond with their Pokémon and use them to help avoid destructive technologies (for the most part) and Pokémon in exchange get to live rather safely and content lay with easy food and water, along with companionship. even when fights break out no one dies if it can be helped

Bad: they have enabled the rare few wmds that have been built to be monsterious atrocities far beyond what we have built irl (Serriously a weapon that when fully charged can fire a nuke anywhere in the world, powered the life force of all the surrounding Pokémon and leaving mass crystallization of that life force locally?!) and there is the factor that not all humans are considerate with the Pokémon they capture potentially over capping and breaking up families and enforcing them into service of a entirely unrelated species. (See the examples I’ve left on the zoroark image) however, on top of both of those, without the sort of unison we have… or had in this sets case, humans are effectively semi-prey creatures as we saw in legends arceus who (depending on the region) would rather just kill Pokémon.

Without context it would make sense to see only the bad from your species point of view, no?

    White-blue-red: Russia's national flag

Black-yellow-white: Russian Imperial flag, used today almost exclusively by far-right Russian nationalists and neo-nazis

Red-Black: Ukrainian nationalist flag, used by far-right Ukrainian nationalists as well as Ukraine's insurgent army in the russo-ukrainian war.

White-red-white: Democratic Republic of Belarus flag, used today by the political opposition in Belarus who opposes Russia's invasion of Ukraine

White-blue-white: Flag of Russia's political opposition and the general Russian movement against Putin.
