A scenery tag for posts that depict a "broad view" of a city, a cityscape can be considered the urban version of a landscape, with detail and focus given to the buildings, utilities, signage, vehicles, and other elements of a street level or high angle view within a city.

where the focus of the piece is on the background, or the focus is shared with the characters within the scene.

Cityscapes may show a detailed street-level view of a city, with many buildings drawn in detail, or be shown from a high angle view, sometimes from a rooftop, or balcony, possibly following a flying character, or "zoomed out" to show a macro character within the cityscape.

When not to use cityscape

If the focus of a piece is mostly or entirely on a character, and/or the city is depicted as a background or as a vague/blurry/low detail skyline, avoid using this tag.
If only a couple of buildings can be seen (such as in most street-level views), use the city tag instead.
