Aw man. Creepers are a fictional species from the video game Minecraft. They are hostile entities with 4 legs and a green body that spawn during the night. They explode when the player gets too close, and are generally silent until that point, when they begin to make a hissing sound.

Creepers are afraid of cats and will actively avoid them. If struck by lightning, they will become a charged creeper. Arguably the game's most famous "mob", and initially designed from a botched pig model, they have a perpetual frown and are said to have a leafy texture. They are infamous for chasing down players in order to explode near them, causing massive damage. They only spawn at night or in darkness, but can roam around during the day. The face of a Creeper appears in the game's logo as part of the "A" in the title.

By default, creepers are feral, but are commonly anthrofied or depicted as taurs instead.
