IceWings are a tribe of dragons in the Wings of Fire series. Their scales are pale, ranging from white to light blue, and are cold to the touch. They are well adapted to the arctic environment of their home in the northwest of Pyrrhia, unbothered by low temperatures and able to withstand even diving into freezing water. They also possess long, serrated claws that help them maintain grip on slick ice and eyes that can tolerate enough light to be immune to snow blindness. Their tails taper to a whip-like point that is covered in spikes.

IceWings are capable of exhaling a frost breath that can inflict severe frostbite or extinguish fire, although this ability can be temporarily disabled if they are exposed to particularly intense heat.
